San Isidro is a family business founded in 1969, which started producing wine in its own winery, located in the town of Santa Lucia, San Juan Province.
The firm then decided to enter the raisin market, taking advantages of the province´s specific climate, which allows the grapes to dry in a totally natural way, through exposure to sunlight. From the beginning, The Company exclusively used grapes harvested at its own farms and processed in its own dryer, to be later sold in bulk to third parties.
In 2011, San Isidro inaugurated a model factory with the most recent machinery and began to produce and package its own raisins with the brand name Pasa Flor. |
The advanced technology and the use of stainless steel though out the whole production process, allows for excellent quality in the final product.
The Company owns three farms in the San Juan province, located in the Cuyo region, in the center-west of the Argentinian Republic. Two farms are located in the Caucete neighborhood, and the other in the Santa Lucia neighborhood. Both areas offer ideal conditions for natural drying of the grapes, due to the small amount of precipitation and the grapes exposure to sunlight almost every day of the year.
The sales offices are located in the city of Buenos Aires in the Belgrano area. |
